Hi Reader! How's your week going? โ I'm always adding to my collection of things from around the internet that made me feel touched and/or inspired. (The collection box being my photo gallery ๐ ) I thought Iโd share a few recents in case you needed a bit of inspiration, distraction, or delight. โ ๐ถ This really beautiful animationafraid, but facing it . . . guitar is a track called โplusโ from the album โpas chassรฉโ by loyalty freak music. I combined it with audio recordings from my phone. you can find โplusโ on Bandcamp.#animation (link) Captioned "afraid, but facing it", this heartwarming sequence of animated drawings is by British illustrator Holly Warburton. I absolutely love this little chihuahua. Bracing against the wind on their big adventures across many strange worlds. I felt really connected to this ๐ฅบ I love this sketchy animation style too. It's really interesting how the dog is on a leash in every single picture. It makes me think there is something always keeping them company, but from a distance. โ ๐ง Royalty-free musicI was curious about the music in that video, so I looked it up. The specific track is "plus" from the album "Pas chassรฉ". It's from French composer Rrrrrose and her project Loyalty Freak Music. I thought this was a really cool collection. She has over 200 royalty-free albums with electronic stuff, weird noise stuff, lofi, acoustic, and more. And invites you to do literally whatever you want with it! โ ๐ฎ A retro OSTThis new album from Satin Sheets is DELICIOUS.
(link) S.WORLD is a fake video game soundtrack that explores various retro electronic sounds including vaporwave, DnB, jungle etc. And there's a lot in here, it's 49 mins long!! Love the world-building in the cover art too, it's really fun and colourful. It's by Maria Vorobjova. My fav track is "OPUS". โ ๐ Fantasy romance at its bestOk... this book is technically not out yet ๐ I'm talking about "Apparently, Sir Cameron Needs to Die", the debut novel from author and illustrator Greer Stothers. I've been following Greer on Tumblr for years and literally watched them write this entire book. I felt so inspired watching them go from just trying out fiction writing for fun... to getting it out in the world and published, despite no experience of how to do so! I found it really insightful following someone already established in one creative industry (illustration) as they tried to "break into" another. You can read a snippet of the book here, if you like! โ That's all from me today. If you've found something recently that you wanna share, I'd love to hear about it. โ Take care, Damon โ Find me on: My Website | Instagram | TikTok | LinkedInโ โ P.S. want to work with me? Here's how:

Hi! I'm Damon. I help creative businesses share their message online. I also send sporadic newsletters about creative life.
Happy Tuesday Reader, I did it!! I put together my 3 new Content Repurposing offer packages. I spent a lot of time at the end of last year thinking about how to make content creation easier for creatives. The biggest thing I focused on was "repurposing" โ i.e. using the same content multiple times. These offers are aimed at creative business owners who've already made great content, but are now burned out and stuck. Sure, creatives can repurpose their own content, and it'll be wayyyyyyy...
Happy New Year Reader! ๐ I hope things are going well for you. I feel like people are being crazier than usual with the January challenges and discipline obsession ๐คจ (have you noticed this too? Don't let 'em get to ya.) If you asked me how I spent 2025, I'd probably say something like: "learning how to support myself" or "learning how to work in my own way" which both sound SO vague and wishy-washy. What do these things mean!!! I'm gonna tell you about what they mean for me. ๐ถ But before I do...
How's it going Reader? This week for me marks 3 years of daily meditation practice. It's the only "daily streak" I keep, and I'm very proud of this commitment. To me, it represents a commitment purely to myself and my own peace. I don't like to talk about meditation as some kind of "stress management hack" that will then help you "focus better at work". Though it does reduce stress, my own practice is a spiritual one. It doesn't exist to just be a productivity hack. It doesn't exist to solve...
